End grain is the best surface to cut or chop on. Your knife cuts between the grain. After the pass, end grain self-heals itself. This will keep your knives sharper longer and shows minimal wear and tear on your cutting board.

Our 16" x 20" end grain cutting boards weigh approximately 14 pounds.
