End grain is the best surface to cut or chop on. Your knife cuts between the grain. After the pass, end grain self-heals itself. This will keep your knives sharper longer and shows minimal wear and tear on your cutting board.

Our 18" x 22" end grain cutting board weighs approximately 16 pounds.
